The Robertson Buttress is a 1040 m high, cliff-like mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It is the westernmost of a series of such mountains that rise on the southern flank of Darwin Glacier between Alley and Gaussiran Glaciers .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2000 after William Gray Robertson Jr. of Antarctic Support Associates , an expert in the design and installation of communications systems for the United States Antarctic Program in the McMurdo Sound region and in the Antarctic dry valleys between 1990 and 2000.
