"Rock City" is a song by Krokus from the 1981 released fifth studio album Hardware . The composition, which is on position 7 on the album, was again written by the songwriter duo Fernando von Arb and Chris von Rohr . The song, along with “Easy Rocker”, “Winning Man” and “Celebration”, is one of the album's classics and can still be found regularly in the band's live set today. A video clip for “Rock City” was also shot at the legendary Hammersmith Odeon in London .

Released as a single

"Rock City" was the first of two regular single releases from the studio album Hardware and the sixth single from Krokus at all. The single, which, like all the other previously published releases of the band of this kind was denied a chart position, was published in 1981 in three different editions of the same cover artwork: While the Dutch 7 "single only the likewise on hardware song contained" Mr. 69 "as the B-side, the red 7" single for the British market also contains a live version of the song "Mad Racket", which can also be found on hardware, as a second B-side .
