Rock in the pot

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rock im Pott is a one-day music festival that first took place in 2012 in Gelsenkirchen's Veltins-Arena .

history

In January 2012 it was announced that it would hold an annual festival. Five performers from the genres of alternative rock or modern, mass-compatible music were planned. For the premiere of the festival, the organizers expected up to 35,000 visitors and were surprised with 41,000 visitors. In 2013 only 27,000 visitors were reached. The festival was canceled for 2014 because no suitable headliner could be found. After the festival did not take place in 2015 and 2016 either, it took place again on August 26, 2017.
