Roderich Albert Kunkler (born July 10, 1846 in St. Gallen ; † November 3, 1900 there , reformed , resident in St. Gallen) was a Swiss politician (FDP) .

biography

Roderich Albert Kunkler came on July 10, 1846 in St. Gallen, the son of advocate , community Ammann , Grossrats and the President of the Court of Cassation Albert Kunkler and Anna Barbara born Eugster born. After attending school in St. Gallen, Roderich Albert Kunkler completed a law degree at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . Subsequently, he headed a law firm in St. Gallen.

Roderich Albert Kunkler, who remained unmarried, died on November 3, 1900, a few months after he had turned 54 in St. Gallen.

Political career

Roderich Albert Kunkler, who belonged to the democratic wing of the Liberals, initially served as district administrator in St. Gallen from 1877 to 1879 . He then took a seat in the St. Gallen Grand Council between 1882 and 1885 . In addition, he represented the canton in the National Council from 1883 until his resignation for health reasons in 1886 . Kunkler was most recently employed as a district court clerk in St. Gallen between 1897 and 1900. In 1897 he participated in the successful referendum against the law on the administration of civil justice in the canton of St. Gallen.
