Rodney Strasser (born March 30, 1990 in Freetown ) is a football player from Sierra Leone . The midfielder has been under contract with ASD Villafranca in the Italian Serie D since 2019 .
Career
Rodney Strasser was spotted and signed by Kallon FC in 2007 during a U-17 street football game in Freetown . He was immediately part of the 1st team. In 2007 he was discovered by AC Milan during a trip to Europe by Kallon FC and accepted into the academy. On December 21, 2008 he made his Serie A debut when he came on for Kacha Kaladze in the 82nd minute of play. Milan won 5-1 against Udinese Calcio .
In July 2010, joined Milan as part of the transfer of Sokratis , who signed with AC Milan, 50% of the transfer rights to Genoa from, along with Nnamdi Oduamadi and Gianmarco Zigoni . In contrast to Zigoni, he and Oduamadi continued to play at AC Milan.
On January 25, 2013 Strasser moved to the end of the season within the league on loan to FC Parma .
For the 2013/14 season, CFC Genoa acquired 100 percent of the transfer rights. The CFC did not use it, however, but awarded it regularly. He played at Reggina Calcio , AS Livorno , AS Lupa Castelli Romani , NK Zagreb and Gil Vicente FC . In 2017 he returned to the CFC, but is not part of the Grifone squad .
