Rodnykiwka ( Ukrainian Родниківка ; Russian Родниковка Rodnikowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kirovohrad with about 750 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in 1754 as a military settlement, is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the south of Oleksandrivka Raion with a total of 970 inhabitants, to which the villages Lypiwka ( Липівка , ⊙ ) with about 40 inhabitants, Marjaniwka ( Мар'янівка , ⊙ ) with 2 Inhabitants, Mohyliw Kurin ( Могилів Курінь , ⊙ ) with about 50 inhabitants and Jassynuwatka ( Ясинуватка , ⊙ ) with about 120 inhabitants.
The village is located in the Dnieper Upland at an altitude of 160 m on the upper reaches of the Inhul , a 354 km long, left tributary of the Southern Bug , 34 km southwest of the Rajonzentrum Oleksandriwka and 36 kilometers north of the Oblastzentrum Kropywnyzkyj .
In the village the military leader was the Russian Civil War Matwij Hryhorjew by anarchists of the Revolutionary Insurrectionary Army of Ukraine murdered.
