Rodolfo Jáuregui
Rodolfo Jáuregui Espinoza (born April 15, 1943 in Guadalajara , Jalisco , † November 17, 2003 ibid) was a Mexican football player who acted in defense or in the defensive midfield .
career
Jáuregui went through the junior area of his home club Atlas Guadalajara , where he also received his first professional contract around 1965 . In the 1965/66 season he was runner- up with the Rojinegros in the Mexican League and at the beginning of the 1967/68 season he won the Mexican Cup with Atlas .
The 1969/70 season he spent in also in Guadalajara -based Club Deportivo Oro .
In 1970 he moved to the northern Mexican city of Torreón , where he was initially under contract with CF Laguna for two years and then ended his active career (1972/73) in the service of CF Torreón , which is also based there.
After his active career, the trained electrical engineer worked for a long time for the metal company Met Mex Peñoles, which is also based in Torreón . At the end of his working life he returned to his hometown Guadalajara, where he died of a brain disease at the age of 60.
