Roel Reiné

Roel Reiné (* 1969 in Eindhoven ) is a Dutch film director who is also active as a screenwriter , film producer and cameraman .

Live and act

Reiné began his career in the film business in the early 1990s on Dutch television. There he directed episodes of various television series and appeared as a screenwriter and editor .

In 1999 he directed the crime comedy The Delivery , which won two awards at the 2001 DVD Exclusive Awards. Reiné himself was awarded the Golden Calf in the category Best Director in 1999. In 2002 he was involved as a producer on the film Swingers - An Immoral Weekend .

In the 2000s, Reiné increasingly oriented himself in the direction of the US film industry. There he mainly directed direct-to-DVD productions . He is often active as a cameraman for his own productions. Radu Ion has been editing his films for years.
