action

Diana and Julian made all of their dreams come true: a successful career, a beautiful house, a secure income. But boredom has gradually crept into their marriage. To spice up their sex life a little, they reply to an ad in a swinger newspaper.

They chose Diana's parents' villa as the meeting point. Full of nervous impatience they await the arrival of the guests, the doctor Timo with his wife Alex, both of whom have already had partner swap experience. Alex in particular enjoys the happy partner swap to the fullest. But when she begins to flirt with Julian and Diana at the same time, Timo feels provoked.

Finally the climax of the night comes. While Timo distances himself, Alex takes over the scene and a threesome begins. When the three heard a noise from the bathroom, however, they took a look and found Timo streaked with tears. Sexual activities no longer take place.

The next morning, Alex and Timo slept separately and actually want to leave immediately, but then use the second day to have their marital argument. Both involve the hosts in their quarrel in order to arouse jealousy in the hope of forcing the unspoken. With that they ruin themselves, but Diana, who started the weekend as a nervous woman, turns out to be the stronger.

In the end Timo explains that he wants to end the swinger life. Diana and Julian, on the other hand, are just getting started.

Reviews

The lexicon of international films wrote that the film was “despite explicit sex scenes, a sovereignly sounded out psychodrama” that was “staged as a four-person chamber play” and “not ostensibly interested in the display of sex”. The film is about the “emotional depths in which the people are”.
