Roggendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Röschitz in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 151 building areas with 62,231 m² and 213 gardens on 158,686 m² in the cadastral community Roggendorf , in 1989/1990 there were 136 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 321 and in 2009/2010 there were 172 buildings on 406 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 361 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 38 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 329 hectares and 47 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 308 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 52 hectares. The average soil climate number of Roggendorf is 48.8 (as of 2010).
