Roland Bonjour

Roland Bonjour (born September 30, 1980 in Dotzigen ) is a Swiss actor .

Life

Roland Bonjour grew up in Dotzigen and, after graduating from high school, studied biochemistry for three semesters at the EPF Lausanne before he began his acting studies at the Bern University of the Arts , which he graduated with a diploma in 2007. From 2007 to 2009 Roland Bonjour was a member of the permanent ensemble of the German theater in Göttingen. Roland Bonjour has been working as a freelance actor for theater, film and television since 2009.

In 2006 Roland Bonjour played his first leading role in the short film Frohe Ostern by Ulrich Schaffner, which was nominated for the Swiss Film Award, and in 2008 he was seen in On the Line by (Reto Caffi) alongside Roeland Wiesnekker . In 2011, Roland Bonjour was seen in (Father Our Will be done) by Robert Ralston for the first time in a leading role on Swiss television . At the theater, Bonjour's works include directors Robert Borgmann , Alexander Riemenschneider, Mark Zurmühle, Antje Thoms, Tillmann Gersch and Hannes Weiler. Engagements have taken him to the Deutsches Theater Göttingen , Hans Otto Theater Potsdam , Theater an der Winkelwiese , Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the Theaterhaus Jena, among others . At the 2006 theater meeting of German-speaking acting students, he was awarded the 1st ensemble and audience award for his production LIVING IN OBLIVION.
