Roland Hemeling (born August 18, 1953 in Osterode am Harz ) is a flotilla admiral a. D. the Navy . In his last employment from January 2013 to December 2015, he was Deputy Head of the Armed Forces Office and General Specialist tasks in Bonn . He was also the site elder in Bonn.

Military career

In 1972, after graduating from high school, Hemeling entered the service of the German Armed Forces as an officer candidate for Crew VII / 72 and completed his training as a naval officer . From 1976 to 1979 he studied Electrical Engineering at the Royal Naval Engineering College HMS Thunderer in Manadon, Plymouth . After that he served on speedboats and destroyers . This was followed by a large number of assignments in the naval office , in the personnel office of the Bundeswehr , in the main office of the Bundeswehr and in the Federal Ministry of Defense in Bonn. Most recently, Hemeling was Head of Division II 2, Management Armed Forces.

Hemeling is a graduate of the US Naval War College .
