Roland Krüger (* 1973 ) is a German pianist and music teacher ..

Life

Roland Krüger studied with Oleg Maisenberg , Karl-Heinz Kämmerling and Krystian Zimerman and received, among other things, the 1st prize and the audience award at the Concours de Genève in 2001. He has performed as a soloist in Europe, Asia and the USA with major orchestras such as the Orchester de la Suisse Romande , Orchester National de Belgique, Radio-Philharmonie Hannover des NDR, Basler Sinfonie-Orchester and the orchestra of the Beethovenhalle Bonn and published numerous CDs. In addition to his concert activities, Krüger is a sought-after teacher. From 2002 he was initially assistant to Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, was then appointed professor at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media in 2007 and holds master classes worldwide - including in Aarhus , Barletta , Dresden , Meiningen, Orléans and Paris .

Publications

CD releases: 12 etudes by Debussy (Ars Musici), solo works by Franz Schubert , Leoš Janáček and Bela Bartòk as well as chamber music by Franz Schubert and Johannes Brahms with the clarinetist Dimitri Ashkenazy (paladino music). For Naxos he recorded works by Joseph Merk , Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart , Johann Nepomuk Hummel and Carl Reinecke .
