The Virginia Valley is a high-lying valley in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . In the Olympus Range , it is east of the Wall Valley between the northern part of Mount Electra in the west and Mount Circe and Mount Dido in the east. To the north it opens to the McKelvey Valley .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2004 after the soil biologist Ross A. Virginia of Dartmouth College , who was active in 13 field research campaigns in the Antarctic dry valleys between 1989 and 2002 .
