Roland Weissbarth

Roland Weißbarth (born November 3, 1955 in Jena ) is a German marketing manager.

Weißbarth played for FC Carl Zeiss Jena from 1969 to 1974 . Then a sports injury forced him to end his short career. He then completed an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic at Carl Zeiss Jena and a traineeship at the German TV broadcaster . He also studied at the University of Film and Television Potsdam- Babelsberg and worked in associations in a wide variety of sports. He was also Marketing Manager at Tennis Borussia Berlin . Roland Weißbarth provided some journalistic work and is the editor of various publications ("Blue-Yellow-White - A City and Its Football Club", "Blue-Yellow-White - The History of FC Carl Zeiss Jena", "100 Years of German Football" etc. )

From November 1st, 2008 to May 29th, 2009 Roland Weißbarth was Marketing Director at FC Carl Zeiss Jena . He has been Deputy Chairman of the Board of Management since March 21, 2011 and Chairman of Tennis Borussia Berlin since July 16, 2013 .
