Roland Wittich

Roland Wittich (* 1942 ) is a German architect who initially emerged as a jazz musician .

From 1963 Wittich was a drummer in the Modern Jazz Crew , a Stuttgart amateur band in which Eberhard Weber and Wolfgang Trattner also played, and then worked in Wolfgang Dauner's trio and other groups until 1971 . He can also be heard on Dieter Reith 's albums. Until 1969 he studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart under Rolf Gutbier . After working in the Kammerer + Belz office in Stuttgart, he founded a joint architecture office with Roland Meister in 1975, which was successful in southern Germany.

Wittich is the father of the actress Lisa Martinek and the director Frieder Wittich .
