Rolf Goerner

Rolf Görner (born October 12, 1924 in Wilsdruff ; † April 9, 2009 ) was a German psychologist and local historian .

Life

Rolf Görner was a teacher at the secondary school in Wilsdruff. Later he studied at the Technical University of Dresden as an employee of Winfried Hacker with the theme "Thinking in design processes " and in 1974 with the work of studies on the psychological analysis of constructing Dr. rer. nat. PhD .

From 1996, Rolf Görner played a key role in the re-establishment of the local history museum in Wilsdruff, which had been in existence since 1919 (reopening in 1999), which he managed on a voluntary basis until 2009. In 2007 he became an honorary citizen of the city of Wilsdruff in recognition of his voluntary work (laudation: Roland Wöller , Saxon State Minister for Culture). In the same year he received the Federal Cross of Merit .

On the 10th anniversary of Dr. Görner was unveiled a memorial plaque financed by the city of Wilsdruff at his home, Freiberger Straße 6 in Wilsdruff, by the Artur-Kühne-Verein , the local group Wilsdruff in the Landesverein Sächsischer Heimatschutz eV.
