Rolf Illig

Rolf Illig (born May 30, 1925 in Berlin ; † February 24, 2005 in Issing ) was a German actor and speaker of literary radio productions.

Life

Illig became an American prisoner of war during World War II . After his release, he took acting classes at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich.

Illig has worked in numerous film and television productions. For many years he worked as a literary speaker for the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation . In the 1970s he presented the program " Pauk mit - Latin " for the school television of the Bavarian radio station at the time .

In the film Höhenfeuer in 1985 Rolf Illig played the father of the young leading actor, in 1988 in Waller's last course he played the leading role of a route walker on the Kempten – Isny ​​railway line .

Having become a wheelchair user through an accident, Illig withdrew more and more from the public during the last years of his life.
