Rolf Lamprecht
Rolf Lamprecht (born October 12, 1930 in Berlin ) is a German journalist and book author .
biography
Lamprecht studied from 1949 to 1953 at the " German University of Politics " in Berlin with a focus on constitutional politics and constitutional law. From 1953 to 1960 he was a judicial reporter at the “ Tagesspiegel ” in Berlin, in 1961 head of the “legal policy” department at the “ Berliner Morgenpost ”, then editor-in-chief at the “ DM ” in Stuttgart. From 1968 to 1998 he worked as a SPIEGEL correspondent at the Federal Supreme Court in Karlsruhe. He was co-founder and chairman of the “ Justice Press Conference Karlsruhe ” and is its honorary chairman.
He reported on all the major trials in the “ Residenz des Rechts ” ( Residence of Law ) and had SPIEGEL talks with the federal prosecutors and court presidents who held office between 1968 and 1998. At the same time he wrote comments and essays for the “ Neue Juristische Wochenschrift ”, the “ Zeitschrift für Rechtssppolitik ” and the “ Deutsche Richterzeitung ”.
Lamprecht received his doctorate in 1992 from the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Hamburg on the subject of "Dissenting opinions and their significance for legal culture". In March 1999 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class.
When Lamprecht presented his book Ich geht bis nach Karlsruhe , Andreas Voßkuhle gave the laudatory speech.
Lamprecht is married and lives in Neusatz .
