Rolf rules
Rolf Regele (also Rudolf Regele ; born April 17, 1899 in Bozen ; † 1987 there ) was a South Tyrolean painter .
Life
Rolf Regele received his artistic training from Rudolf Stolz and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich . In 1923 he returned to Bolzano and stayed there until the end of his life. As a painter, he mainly developed in the field of flowers and landscapes. In the 1920s and 1930s he became one of the most reproduced contemporary painters in German-speaking countries, whose pictures were printed in original size or as color postcards in Munich, Leipzig, Frankfurt, London and New York. In terms of organization, Regele belonged to the committee of two fascist art biennials in Bolzano in 1938/40. After the Second World War he joined the South Tyrolean Artists Association .
