Rolf Tewes

Rolf Tewes (born September 24, 1935 in Lünen ) is a German local politician and former honorary district administrator ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending school with the completion of a technical diploma and vocational training, he studied interior design and architecture from 1955 to 1961 at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and the Aachen University of Applied Sciences and the Munich University of Fine Arts. After completing his studies, he was employed as a salaried architect before going self-employed in 1966 . He is married and has three children.

He was a member of the Unna district council from 1975 to 1988. From February 18, 1988 to September 30, 1999, Tewes was the last honorary district administrator in the district as the successor to Friedrich Böckmann . From 1969 to 1974 he was a member of the Altlünen council . As district administrator, he represented the Unna district in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia.
