Roman Ehrlich

Roman Ehrlich (* 1983 in Aichach ) is a German writer .

biography

Ehrlich grew up in Neuburg an der Donau . After a discontinued professional training as a radio and television technician, he studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig . He then matriculated to study Modern German Literature at the Free University of Berlin , but dropped out after a while. He writes prose and drama. In 2011 he was a finalist at the 19th open mike . At the invitation of Paul Jandl , he took part in the competition for the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in Klagenfurt in 2013 . In July 2013 his debut novel The Cold Year was published by DuMont Buchverlag and in 2014 his collection of short stories Urwaldgäste . Ehrlich was co-editor of the betting community and the literary anthology Edition NB . He is also a member of the PEN Center Germany .
Roman Ehrlich lives in Berlin .
