Roman Feldmeyer

Roman Feldmeyer (born June 9, 1895 in Würzburg , † December 18 or 20, 1950 in Munich ) was a German painter.

Feldmeyer served in World War I and created several paintings about his wartime experiences. From 1919 he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Franz von Stuck , Angelo Jack and Adolf Hengeler . He was considered a moderate impressionist and preferred Upper Bavarian motifs as a landscape painter.

Adolf Hitler valued the painter's work.
