Roman Konečný (born July 25, 1983 in Holíč ) is a Slovak football player .

Career

The defensive all-rounder began his career in the youth of Holíč and later moved to Spartak Trnava where he also played in the senior team. In Trnava he became a regular player and moved to Artmedia Bratislava for the 2005/06 season . At last year's champions, however, Konečný did not get over the role of substitute for a long time. Only in the following season did he get back into the starting line-up. But was no longer used in the championship round in 2007 and finally played in the third division in the B-team before moving to FC Senec in the second half of 2007/08 . After the brief guest appearance until the end of April, he returned to Artmedia, where he was initially back in the B team, but since the beginning of 2009 he has also played in the Corgoň League again . At the beginning of 2010 he turned his back on the club, which was in financial distress, and completed a few trial training sessions. a. at Polonia Bytom . Finally, he ended up with the Greek second division team Thrasyvoulos Fylis for half a year . He has been playing for DAC Dunajská Streda since August 2010, where he made his debut on matchday five.
