Roman Nikolayevich Fitilew
Roman Nikolajewitsch Fitilew ( Russian Роман Николаевич Фитилев , also Фитилёв ; born March 10, 1968 ) is a Russian handball coach and former handball player .
The 1.93 m tall handball goalkeeper began his career at SKIF Krasnodar . He came to TV Angermund in Germany through the Polish club Śląsk Wrocław . He later played for the HSG Düsseldorf and the TV Oppum in Krefeld, with whom he reached the second round in the DHB Cup 2000/01 . In 2001 he moved to the Bundesliga relegated LTV Wuppertal . After he had to relegate with the LTV in 2002 from the 2nd handball Bundesliga , he went to league competitor LHC Cottbus , with whom he was also relegated in 2003 . In 2004 he was committed by the second division club 1. SV Concordia Delitzsch , with whom he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2005 . In 2007 the thirteen-time Russian international ended his career. He then became head coach at his hometown club SKIF Krasnodar.
