Roman Usdenow (born March 10, 1979 ) is a former Kazakh football player who was active for FK Atyrau and the Kazakh national team .

Career

Usdenow played for Jessil Kokshetau in his home country in 2001 before moving to Russia to Spartak Nalchik at the end of the year . There he played for a year and in January 2003 signed a contract with the Russian professional club Dynamo Moscow , where he was active until the end of 2003. In 2004 he played for Anzhi Makhachkala , also in Russia. In 2007 he returned to Nalchik and scored one goal in 14 games. From January 2008 to 2009 he played again in Kazakhstan for FK Atyrau.

Usdenov made his national team debut on February 18, 2004 in a friendly in Latvia and scored his first goal on February 21, also in a friendly against Cyprus . He also met in the first qualifying game for the 2010 World Cup in a 3-0 win over Andorra .
