Roman Mychajlowytsch Wolodkow ( Ukrainian Роман Михайлович Володьков , * 12. August 1973 in Zaporizhia ) is a former Ukrainian diver . He started in art and high diving in both individual and synchronized competitions.

Volodkov took part in three Olympic Games . In 1996 in Atlanta he was eleventh on the 3 m board and 20th in the 10 m tower. In 2000 in Sydney he reached 21st place in the tower and was sixth together with Olexandr Skrypnyk in the 10 m synchronized jumping. In 2004 in Athens he was again 21st from the tower and also narrowly missed a medal with his new dubbing partner Anton Sakharov in fourth.

Volodkov was able to celebrate two medals at swimming world championships. In 2001 he won bronze in Fukuoka and in 2003 silver in Barcelona , both in the 10 m synchronized competition and together with Anton Sakharov.

Volodkow was also successful at the European Swimming Championships . As early as 1995 he won bronze from the 3 m board in Vienna , followed by another bronze medal from the 10 m tower in Istanbul in 1999 . A year later he won the silver medal in the 10 m synchronized jumping with Skrynyk in Helsinki . At the 2002 European Championships in Berlin , the successful Volodkow / Sakharov duo won their first title, which they were able to repeat in 2004 . In the same year, Volodkow also won bronze from the tower.

After the 2005 World Cup, he ended his active career.
