The Rome Frenzy were an American ice hockey team from Rome , New York . The team played in the Federal Hockey League in the 2010-11 season .
history
The Rome Frenzy franchise was founded in the spring of 2010 as one of the six founding members of the Federal Hockey League , in which they participated in the 2010/11 season . In May 2011, the Rome Frenzy announced that the team would not be returning to the FHL for the 2011/12 season after ceasing play during the previous season. The main reasons given were the unsatisfactory audience figures. The average attendance in the 2010/11 season was 215, while around 60 season tickets were sold.
The Rome Frenzy played their home games in the 1,200-seat John F. Kennedy Civic Arena.
