course
The Rommersheimer Bach rises to the southeast of Wörrstadt -Rommersheim . Its direction of flow is northwest. It passes, partly piped, Rommersheim and flows southeast of the Rommerheimer Mühle near the tracks of the Alzey – Mainz railway line into the Neuborn stream .
history
According to a council meeting, it is planned to remove the earth dams to the Rommersheimer Bach down to a predefined height level so that the system can then be flooded from both sides in the event of flood discharge. This fulfills the function of a near-natural retention area on the water.
