Romy Lindner
Romy Lindner (born September 28, 1967 ) is a German long-distance runner .
In 1993 she was fifth in the Frankfurt Marathon . In the following year she was in the same position as the overall sixth runner-up in the German marathon championship and German champion in mountain running .
In 1995 she was second overall in the Hamburg Marathon German Marathon Champion. In 1998 she won her second national title in mountain running.
She won three times each in the GutsMuths-Rennsteiglauf over the marathon distance and in the Göltzschtal-Marathon . She holds the course records in both races.
Romy Lindner first started for SV Blau-Weiß Auerbach (until 1994) and then for LAC Chemnitz. She is currently active at VfB Lengenfeld .
