Ronald Freytag (born September 11, 1959 in Sondershausen ) is a German psychologist .

Live and act

Freytag studied psychology from 1986 to 1991 at the Humboldt University in Berlin , where he co-founded the student council . On November 4, 1989, he was one of the speakers at the Alexanderplatz demonstration . After the reunification he completed his studies as a qualified psychologist. From 1995 to 1999 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Family, Childhood and Youth Research at the University of Potsdam . From 1996 to 1999 he also completed the PhD in Psychology at the University of Osnabrueck , he with the promotion of Doctor of Science (nat rer Dr...) Completed.

From 1999 to 2002 he was head of the target group market research department at the Institute Concentra Market Research & Consulting in Nuremberg. After completing a postgraduate course in Principles of Marketing Research from 2002 to 2003 at the University of Georgia in Athens , Georgia , he worked in various positions at Deutsche Post from 2003 to 2009 . From 2010 to 2011 he was professor for market and advertising psychology at the University of Applied Management in Erding . Since October 2011 he has been Chancellor and Professor of Media and Business Psychology at the University for Media, Communication and Economics in Berlin.
