Ronnie Holassie

Ronald "Ronnie" Holassie (born July 29, 1971 in Port of Spain ) is a former long-distance runner from Trinidad and Tobago .

Holassie mainly ran the marathon distance , but also the half marathon as well as 5000 and 10,000 meter runs . In 1996 he took part in the marathon at the Olympic Games in Atlanta . There he reached 75th place with a time of 2:27:20 hours. Four years later he was able to improve to 2:19:24 hours and thus the 32nd place at the games in Sydney . On April 29, 2001, Holassie set his personal best in Cleveland with 2:13:03 hours.
