Rosalvo Costa Rêgo

Rosalvo Costa Rêgo (born August 18, 1891 in Pilar , Paraíba , Brazil ; † February 3, 1954 ) was a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro .

Life

Rosalvo Costa Rêgo received on 28 October 1914, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 30, 1946, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular bishop of Marciana and auxiliary bishop in Sao Sebastiao do Rio de Janeiro. The Archbishop of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro, Cardinal Jaime de Barros Câmara , donated him episcopal ordination on June 9 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Taubaté , André Arcoverde de Albuquerque Cavalcanti , and the bishop of Niterói , José Pereira Alves . On March 3, 1952, Pius XII appointed him. titular Archbishop of Hierapolis in Syria .
