Rosemarie Hajek (* 21st March 1951 in Reinsdorf ) is a German politician of the SPD . From 1990 to 2006 she was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

biography

Family, education and work

After graduating from high school with vocational training as an industrial clerk in 1969, Hajek began studying education at the Zwickau University of Education , which she completed in 1973. She then worked as a certified teacher for music and German in Wittenberg and Cobbelsdorf until 1990 .

Hajek is married and has two children.

politics

In December 1989 Hajek was a founding member of the SPD in Wittenberg and Roßlau . In 1990 she became chairwoman of the SPD district association Roßlau.

Hajek was a member of the first freely elected People's Chamber in the GDR. She was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt since the first electoral term and did not run again in the 2006 state elections . She represented the constituency of Roßlau and was last elected from the state list. She was a member of the Food, Agriculture and Forestry Committee.

Further memberships

Hajek was state chairwoman of the AWO Saxony-Anhalt from 1992 to 2004 . She leads several choirs in the Wittenberg region, such as B. since 2010 the community choir Coswig.

Honors

She was awarded the Marie Juchacz plaque from the Arbeiterwohlfahrt in 2010. In 2012 she was awarded the Medal of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany .
