Rosie Frankowski (born July 30, 1991 ) is an American cross-country skier .

Career

Frankowski started in Minneapolis in January 2010 for the first time in the US Super Tour and finished 36th in the 5 km freestyle. At the U23 World Championships in 2014 in the Fiemme Valley , she achieved 38th place over 10 km classic and 26th place in skiathlon . After finishing second in the 10 km freestyle at the start of the 2017/18 season at the Nor Am Cup and US Super Tour in Vernon , she took five podium finishes, reaching eighth overall in the Nor Am Cup and third overall in the US Super Tour. In addition, she won the Alpine Cup in Cogne over 10 km classic and the following pursuit race. At the highlight of the season, the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she finished 21st in the 30 km mass start race. In March 2018, she completed her first World Cup race in Oslo , finishing 31st in the 30 km mass start race. At the World Cup final in Falun , she came in 46th place. In the 2018/19 season she won the 10 km freestyle in West Yellowstone and also took second place in the sprint there. In January 2019, she finished second in the 20 km mass start race at the US Championships in Craftsbury . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol , she finished 24th in the skiathlon. At the end of the season she came in 56th place at the World Cup finals in Québec and finally reached sixth place in the overall ranking of the US Super Tour. In the 2019/20 season she finished 11th in the overall ranking of the US Super Tour and took 23rd place over 10 km freestyle in Davos and 29th place in the ski tour, which she finished in 43rd place. Place in the 34 km mass start race in Meråker, her first World Cup points.
