In the 1930s, Heinrich Rosier went into active car trading and from 1932 sold Mercedes-Benz cars and trucks . A dealer agreement with Auto Union followed in 1936, which included the brands Audi , Horch , Wanderer and DKW .

From 1960 the first wave of expansion followed with the first branch in Neheim (1960), the relocation of the truck workshop to Bodelschwingstrasse (1961) and the purchase of the property on Fröndenberger Strasse (formerly Fröndenberger Landstrasse) with the start of construction of the car dealership (1962) . Both Rosier groups have each founded their own holding company. In this organizational form, the parent company - Rosier Holding - united the various legally and organizationally independent subsidiaries under one roof. The Oldenburg group was sold in 2015.

The contacts made with a vehicle repair company immediately after the opening of the border led to a cooperation agreement in 1990 . Subsequently, the companies Auto Rosier Stendal, representatives of Mercedes-Benz AG , and Rosier AVG Stendal were founded as VW / Audi dealerships. In the period that followed, Rosier moved four times. The Autostadt Rosier Stendal , a newly built company, was opened in 1993. In 1996, Rosier took over a VW / Audi company on Arnsberger Strasse in Arnsberg / Neheim-Hüsten . An Audi house was built and the Arnsberg Mercedes-Benz branch on Bahnhofstrasse in Neheim was expanded to include the vacated VW / Audi Rosier building.

In 1999, Rosier opened a market for used vehicles of all brands in Arnsberg under the name “Autostrada”. In 2000, Rosier took over the Mercedes house of the Metzner company in Westerstede. In the Sauerland, the Heinrich Rosier car dealership took over the territory of the Mercedes-Benz representative Hövel and acquired its facilities in Arnsberg, Meschede and Schmallenberg .
