Rossano Galante
Rossano Galante (* 1967 in Buffalo , New York ) is an American composer and orchestrator .
Life
Rossano Galante grew up in Buffalo. As a schoolboy he learned the trumpet , taught himself to play the piano and tried his hand at composing. Galante later studied trumpet at the University at Buffalo ; In 1992 he completed his studies with a Bachelor of Arts and moved to the University of Southern California , where he studied film music composition with Jerry Goldsmith . In 1999 he moved to California to make a name for himself as a composer and orchestrator.
Galante has been involved as an orchestrator in several major Hollywood productions, such as Die Hard 4.0 , Death Train to Yuma , Wolverine: The Warrior's Way, and Avengers: Age of Ultron . He also wrote parts of the music for Scary Movie 2 .
As a composer, Galante has written commissioned works for major wind orchestras in the United States, including the Nebraska Wind Symphony and the Hofstra University wind orchestra .
