Rossawa ( Ukrainian Росава ; Russian Росава Rossawa , Polish Rosawa ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 2,400 inhabitants (2001).

The village, founded in 1560, has an architectural monument from the 18th century with its wooden church. In June 1845 the village was visited by Taras Shevchenko , which he later mentioned in his story A walk with pleasure and not without morality .

Rossawa is the only village of the same name, 70.91 km² district council in the south of Myroniwka Rajon .

The village is located on the banks of the Rossava , a 90 km long left tributary of the Ros , 6 km northwest of the Rajon center Myroniwka and 100 km south of Kiev . The trunk road N 01 , the regional road P – 09 and the territorial road T – 10–17 run through the village .
