Rosvitha Okou gained her first international experience at the Junior European Championships 2005 in Kaunas , where she was eliminated in the first round with 14.89 seconds. In 2012 she was already sixth for Ivory Coast starting in 13.74 s at the African Championships in Porto-Novo and also qualified for the Olympic Games in London , where she was eliminated with 13.62 s in the lead . In the following year, she took fifth place in the Francophonie Games in Nice in 13.69 s, as well as with the Ivorian 4 x 100 meter relay in 45.84 s. In 2014 she won the silver medal behind the South African Rikenette Steenkamp at the African Championships in Marrakech in 13.26 seconds . At the African Games in Brazzaville the following year, she won the bronze medal behind the teams from Nigeria and Ghana with the relay in 43.98 s. In addition, she was fourth in the hurdles in 13.32 s. Also at the Francophonie Games two years later in Abidjan , she came fourth in 13.59 s. In 2018 she won the bronze medal in the hurdles race at the African Championships in Asaba in 13.39 seconds behind the Nigerian Tobi Amusan and the South African Steenkamp. In addition, she secured the silver medal behind Nigeria with the relay in 44.40 seconds.
In 2019 Okou again took part in the Africa Games in Rabat and finished fifth there in 13.72 s.
