The Rotbach is a 12-kilometer left tributary of the Langete in the Swiss canton of Bern .

The Rotbach rises in the Lämpemattwald just a little southeast of the hamlet of Weier in the Emmental (municipality of Affoltern in the Emmental ) at 750 m above sea level. M. at the watershed to the (geographical) Emmental . It arrives at Huttwil via Häusermoos and Dürrenroth and finally joins there at 600 m above sea level. M. with the langete . When the two rivers flow together, the Rotbach carries more water than the Langete.
