The Rothenbach is a 5.7 km long orographic left tributary of the Agger in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

geography

The brook rises about 1000 m north of Kaldauen at an altitude of 161  m above sea level. NN . Flowing mainly in a westerly direction, the brook crosses federal highway 56 after around 800 m. On its further path, the brook passes the nature reserve Gagelestand and flows through several ponds here. Further west, the stream crosses the A3 federal motorway and the nature reserve Niedermoor in the Widdauer Wald and Wald north of Siegburg , before the stream about 600 m northeast of Troisdorf at 57  m above sea level. NN flows into the Agger on the left . With a height difference of 104 m, the mean bed slope is 18.2 ‰.
