Rouge FM is a private radio station from Switzerland . The program went on air on March 1, 1989 under the name Radio Framboise and has been known under its current name since July 1, 2005. The station has been based in Mont-sur-Lausanne since August 2007 . The transmission area covers the cantons of Geneva , Vaud , Neuchâtel and Friborg . With 137'400 daily listeners, it is one of the most successful private radio stations in French-speaking Switzerland .
In cooperation with the Edipresse media group , on September 28, 2007, the broadcaster took over a majority stake in the Geneva-based private broadcaster Radio Lac , which now broadcasts from the same premises.
Since November 18, 2008 the television channel Rouge TV has also been on the air. The channel can be received on UPC Switzerland's digital network and shows music clips, film trailers, entertainment magazines and talk shows.
The Rouge FM radio group also has two internet radios: the rock station Rouge Rock and Rouge Platine , which is dedicated to electronic music.
