Rouven Ertlschweiger

Rouven Ertlschweiger (born September 8, 1976 in Wiener Neustadt , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian politician . From 2014 he was a member of the Austrian National Council for the Stronach team . On August 1, 2015, his move to the parliamentary club of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) was announced. He resigned from the National Council on November 8, 2017.

Life

After attending elementary school in Neudörfl , Ertlschweiger graduated from the Zehnergasse Federal High School in Wiener Neustadt. After graduating from high school in 1996, he studied law at the University of Vienna until 2000 . Ertlschweiger after about ten years worked as a journalist in the Lower Austrian news and Burgenland Volkszeitung worked in the sports department.

From 2008 to 2010 he studied communication and management at the Danube University Krems . In 2012 he became press spokesman for Frank Stronach , who founded his party Team Stronach in the same year . After the party founder left the National Council at the end of January 2014, Ertlschweiger accepted its mandate, which had now become vacant. On August 1, 2015, he and Kathrin Nachbaur moved from Team Stronach's parliamentary club to the ÖVP .

Rouven Ertlschweiger is married and has a son and a daughter. Today he lives in Pöttsching . His first name is a variant of the biblical name Ruben .
