Rovérsio Rodrigues de Barros , nicknamed Rovérsio (born January 17, 1984 in Igarassu ) is a Brazilian football player in the service of New York Cosmos .
Career
Rovérsio began professional football in 2001 at Santa Cruz FC and moved to the first Portuguese division for Gil Vicente FC after three seasons . In 2007 he moved to Paços de Ferreira and a year later in the Spanish Primera División to CA Osasuna . At Osasuna he played four seasons, spending the 2010/11 season on loan at Betis Sevilla .
For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish first division club Orduspor .
A year later he moved to New York Cosmos with whom he was able to win the North American Soccer League straight away .
