Roxane Knetemann (born April 1, 1987 in Roosendaal ) is a former Dutch cyclist who was active on the track and the road .

Athletic career

Roxane Knetemann comes from a cycling family: Her father is the road world champion from 1978 , Gerrie Knetemann , her mother the former racing cyclist Gré Knetemann-Donker. As a child she played tennis, but after attending the Dutch track championships in Alkmaar , she became interested in cycling herself. In 2002 she won her first national title when she became the Dutch youth champion in the individual time trial .

Her achievements won Roxane plasticine man with the team Rabo Women Cycling in the team time trial at Road World Championships: 2013 was the team runner-up, and in 2015 the team won bronze.

Roxane Knetemann studied education, but had interrupted her studies because of cycling. She is in a relationship with cycling colleague Wim Stroetinga . At the end of the 2019 season, Knetemann ended her career as a racing cyclist.
