Katarzyna Niewiadoma (born September 29, 1994 in Limanowa ) is a Polish cyclist .
Athletic career
In 2012 Katarzyna Niewiadoma took second place in the individual time trial at the Polish junior women’s road championships . In the following year she finished fifth in the road race at the European Championships (U23) , was seventh overall on the Czech Tour and tenth on the Holland Ladies Tour . In 2014 she was third in the Polish road racing championship, third in the Tour of Norway and won the Gippingen GP .
In 2015 Niewiadoma won the Basque Tour Emakumeen Bira , finished second in the road race at the European Games and finished fifth at the Giro d'Italia Femminile . At the UEC European Road Championships for Juniors / U23 in 2015 , she won the gold medal in the road race (U23) and was fifth in the time trial. She also won the junior ranking of the cycling world cup . In autumn of that year, she and her colleagues from the Rabo Liv Women Cycling Team won the bronze medal in the team time trial at the road world championships . The following year was extremely successful for her: Among other things, she won the overall ranking of the Festival luxembourgeois du Cyclisme Féminin Elsy Jacobs , the Ronde van Gelderland , the Giro del Trentino Alto Adige , and she was U23 European champion in road racing and Polish champion in the individual time trial .
In 2017 Katarzyna Niewiadoma won the British Women's Tour . The following season she started with a victory at the Trofeo Alfredo Binda , in the California Tour she finished third in the overall standings, and she decided the overall standings of the Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l'Ardèche . In 2019 she won the Amstel Gold Race , a stage and the mountain classification of the Women's Tour and was involved in her team's victory in the team time trials of the Giro d'Italia Femminile .
