Rubén David Correa Montenegro (born July 25, 1941 in Lima , Peru ) is a former Peruvian football goalkeeper .
Career
society
Correa began his professional playing career in Lima in 1962 with Sporting Cristal from the Rímac district . A year later he moved to Universitario de Deportes . For this club he played until 1971. During this time he won the Peruvian championship five times and was twice runner-up. In 1972 he ended his active career at Defensor Lima from the Breña district .
National team
Between 1967 and 1970 Rubén Correa played four games for the Peruvian national soccer team . He was part of the Peruvian squad at the 1970 World Cup in Mexico . As a substitute for Luis Rubiños , he was not used in the course of the tournament.
