The Rudolf-Schober-Hütte is an alpine club hut at an altitude of 1667 meters in the Schladminger Tauern and is located on the Central Alpine Trail (Austrian long-distance hiking trail 02). It is looked after by the Stuhlecker section of the PES . It is a refuge of the AV hut category I and offers 28 places to stay during the summer season, including 14 rooms and 14 mattress dormitories . The winter area of the hut comprises 8 storage areas and is accessible with the Alpine Club key.

Ascents

From the south through the Etrachbach valley
- from the car park at the Etrachsee ( 1374 m ), on a forest road in 1½ hours,
- from Krakauhintermühlen ( 1305 m ) in 2½ hours,
- from Krakaudorf ( 1180 m ) in 2¾ hours.
From the northeast from St. Nikolai in Sölktal ( 1127 m ) through the Bräualmbachtal and over the Schimpelscharte ( 2273 m ) in 5½ hours.
