Rudolf Albini

Rudolf Albini (* 1719 in Bamberg ; † August 25, 1797 in Bayreuth ) was the court plasterer of the Bayreuth margrave .

Rudolf Albini is considered a master of the manufacture of shell works and only used figurative elements sparingly. Before he was employed at the court in Bayreuth, he worked in Würzburg . His works are u. a. in the Spitalkirche (1750) and in the New Castle in Bayreuth, in the Nemmersdorf Parish Church (1752/53), in the Kaiserhammer Hunting Lodge (1759/60), in the Bindlach Parish Church (1766/69), in the Ansbach Residence (1772) and the parish church of Eckersdorf (1793). For example, he also stuccoed the Feezsche Amtshaus in Sparneck .
