The Feezsche Amtshaus is a monument in Sparneck .

history

In the time of the Principality of Bayreuth , the Oberamt Münchberg - Stockenroth - Hallerstein existed with the official seat at the former Stockenroth Castle . After the clerk and judge Johann Georg Hartung had already relocated his seat to Sparneck and had a new office building built on the remains of Sparneck Castle , Johann Siegmund Friedrich Feez left another office building on the core of an estate just a few decades later in 1763 Purchased in 1755 from Christian Albrecht von Magwitz . The Günther bakery is located in the Münchberger Straße 8 building.

Architecture and design

The two-storey building has a mansard roof . On the ground floor the rooms have groin vaults and sail vaults . One room has a barrel vault with stitch caps . The stairwell is decorated with frame stucco. The upper floor is decorated with rocailles by Rudolf Albini with corner cartouches with allegories and putti .

Awards

In 2019, the constant renovation of the property was honored with the Prize for Monument Preservation of the Oberfrankenstiftung .
